Wedding Videographer at Heckington Manor

Heckington Manor is one of those venues that surprises people. Tucked away in rural Lincolnshire, this Georgian manor house delivers country house elegance without the country house price tag. The walled garden is stunning, the barn has real character, and the whole place has a warmth that bigger, grander venues sometimes lose. As a local wedding videographer, it's one of my favourite venues to film.

What makes Heckington Manor special

Heckington Manor nails the balance between grandeur and intimacy. The Georgian house is beautiful — proper period features, elegant proportions, and a sense of history that gives your wedding photos and film an instant cinematic quality. But it's not stiff or formal. The walled garden is one of the best in Lincolnshire for outdoor ceremonies and drinks receptions, and the converted barn is warm, characterful, and genuinely atmospheric.

From a filming perspective, this venue delivers. The walled garden creates natural framing — old brick walls, climbing plants, dappled light — it's gorgeous on camera. The barn has warm tones and exposed timber that give films a rich, textured quality. And the house itself offers formal backdrops for the more composed shots.

Drone footage here is excellent. The aerial view of the manor house set in its gardens and surrounding countryside gives real context — you see exactly how beautiful the setting is. It's included where conditions allow.
