Some weddings just have that energy from the moment you arrive, and Chelsey & Charles' summer wedding at The Grange in Highgate was one of those days. The sun was out, the atmosphere was buzzing, and you could feel the excitement building as the morning unfolded.

Chelsey got ready with her bridesmaids at the venue, with that wonderful mix of nervous laughter and quiet, meaningful moments that always make for beautiful morning footage. Meanwhile, Charles and his groomsmen were keeping things relaxed — suited up and ready well before anyone expected.

The ceremony at The Grange was bathed in warm afternoon light, with guests gathered in the beautiful grounds as Chelsey made her entrance. There's something about a summer ceremony in the English countryside that just feels timeless — the soft breeze, the sound of birdsong, the collective intake of breath as the bride appears.

Afterwards, we took the couple through the venue's gardens for their couple shots. The Grange has this lovely combination of manicured lawns and wilder, more natural spaces, which gave us plenty of variety. Chelsey and Charles were completely at ease in front of the camera, which always makes our job easier and the results more natural.

But it was the evening that really set this wedding apart. From the first dance onwards, the dance floor was never empty. Guests were singing, spinning each other around, and celebrating with an energy that carried right through to the end of the night. One of those rare weddings where absolutely everyone was on the same wavelength — just there to have the best time possible. The kind of day that stays with you. 🌞🎉
