A Victorian Gothic country house near Goole in North Yorkshire, it looks like something from a period drama — ornate interiors, sweeping grounds, and a sense of grandeur that takes your breath away. Chloe & Mark chose it for good reason, and then matched the drama of the venue with a celebration that was absolutely spectacular.

Chloe's morning preparations were held in one of Carlton Towers' stunning suites, the ornate surroundings providing an incredible backdrop for the kind of detail shots that set the scene for the rest of the film. The bridesmaids reveal was beautiful, and her dad's reaction was genuinely moving — a quiet, overwhelmed moment amid all the excitement.

Mark and his groomsmen brought a relaxed energy to the morning, getting ready in another part of the venue with the kind of easy banter that speaks to genuine friendship. The ceremony itself was held inside Carlton Towers' magnificent chapel room — all carved wood, painted ceilings, and candlelight. Chloe's entrance was pure cinema, the grand architecture framing her perfectly as she walked towards Mark.

We explored the grounds extensively for the couple's portraits, finding Gothic archways, formal gardens, and sweeping views that gave us incredible variety. The venue lends itself to dramatic, editorial-style footage, and Chloe and Mark rose to every creative idea we suggested.

But this wedding was really about the evening. A Spice Girls tribute act had the room bouncing from their first note, and just when everyone thought the night couldn't get more exciting, a professional fireworks display lit up the sky above the venue. We positioned ourselves to capture the fireworks framing the couple from behind — the resulting footage is some of the most dramatic and visually stunning we've ever produced.
