About this film
If there's one word to describe Faye & Matt's wedding at Hellaby Hall Hotel, it's energy. From the moment the morning started until the very last song of the night, this day never let up — and we loved every second of it.
Faye's morning preparations were full of excitement and anticipation, surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. The dad reveal was a genuinely emotional moment — the kind of pause in the chaos that reminds everyone what the day is really about. Matt and his groomsmen kept things characteristically relaxed, with plenty of banter and a real sense of camaraderie.
Hellaby Hall is a striking venue — a 17th-century manor house with grand architecture that photographs beautifully. The ceremony took place inside the hall, with warm light filtering through the windows and an intimacy that belied the size of the building. Faye's walk down the aisle was a standout moment, with Matt visibly moved as she approached.
We made the most of the venue's grounds for the couple's portraits, finding pockets of beautiful light around the historic building. Hellaby Hall has this wonderful mix of formal grandeur and natural beauty — stone walls covered in ivy, wide sweeping lawns, and mature trees framing every shot.
The speeches brought the room to tears and then to laughter, exactly as the best speeches do. But it was the evening that truly defined this wedding. The dance floor opened up and it simply never closed. Faye and Matt set the tone with their first dance, and from that moment on, every single guest was on their feet. The band fed off the crowd's energy, the crowd fed off the band, and the result was one of the most electric party atmospheres we've ever captured on camera. 🥳🎶
