A working farm with beautifully converted barns near Wragby. The exposed beams and fairy lights create incredible ambience for evening footage. Great outdoor space for drone shots too.
3. Healing Manor
A gorgeous boutique hotel near Grimsby with manicured gardens and a contemporary barn space. Brilliant for couples who want elegance without the country house price tag. The grounds work beautifully for portraits.

4. Normanby Hall
A Regency mansion set in 300 acres of parkland near Scunthorpe. The deer park provides breathtaking drone footage, and the grand interior staircase is a videographer's dream for bridal entrance shots.
5. Stubton Hall
Near Newark, this Georgian hall has everything — ornate rooms, sweeping lawns, a lake for sunset portraits. Multiple spaces means you can capture real variety throughout the day.
6. Rise Hall
Made famous by Sarah Beeny's TV restoration, this East Yorkshire/Lincolnshire border venue is grand without being stuffy. The great hall with its towering ceiling makes ceremony footage feel epic.

7. The Brackenborough Hotel
A charming country house hotel in Louth with a woodland ceremony area. Intimate, relaxed, and the woodland setting films beautifully — dappled light through the trees is a videographer's best friend.
8. The Old Barn at South Ormsby Estate
Set within the Lincolnshire Wolds, this converted barn is both rustic and refined. The estate grounds offer gorgeous landscape shots, and the barn's acoustics are surprisingly good for speech recordings.
9. Elsham Hall
Beautiful gardens, a butterfly walkway, and real character. The Georgian barn is wonderful for receptions, and the gardens give you several distinct backdrops without leaving the venue.

10. The Priory, Louth
A stunning medieval priory with manicured gardens. The stone walls and archways create an atmospheric backdrop that looks incredible on film. One of the most underrated venues in the county.
11. Washingborough Hall
A Georgian manor just outside Lincoln with beautiful gardens leading down to a lake. The sunset views across the water are perfect for drone footage and evening portraits.
12. The Heron at Kettlethorpe
Waterside charm with a modern twist. The River Trent setting gives you unique footage opportunities, and the contemporary styling of the venue photographs and films cleanly.
Tips for choosing your venue
- Visit at the same time of year as your wedding — light changes everything
- Ask about noise restrictions — some venues cut music at 11pm
- Check if the venue has preferred suppliers or if you can choose freely
- Think about your guest journey — can everyone get there easily?
- Consider what the venue looks like in both daylight and evening light
